How to score Ticket to Ride Europe

Use the calculator above during your game or after your game ends to total the main Ticket to Ride Europe score categories in one place. The tool keeps the scoring manual: you enter the routes you claimed, mark each destination ticket as done or failed, choose unused stations, and add the European Express bonus when it applies.

  • Claimed routes: count each route by train length. Europe uses the standard route table: 1, 2, 4, 7, 15, and 21 points for lengths 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8.
  • Destination tickets: completed tickets add their printed value. Failed tickets subtract their printed value.
  • Train stations: each unused station is worth 4 points at the end of the game.
  • European Express: add 10 points if the player receives the longest continuous path bonus.
  • Ferries and tunnels: they can change the cards needed to claim a route, but they do not change the route score.

Ticket to Ride Europe scoring FAQ

What does this Ticket to Ride Europe score calculator count?
It counts claimed route points, completed destination tickets, failed destination tickets, unused station bonuses, and the European Express bonus for one player.
Does the calculator decide whether a destination ticket is complete?
No. You decide whether each ticket is done or failed, then the calculator adds or subtracts the points.
How many points is each unused station worth in Ticket to Ride Europe?
Each unused train station is worth 4 points, so three unused stations are worth 12 points.
Do tunnels or ferries score extra points?
No. Tunnels and ferries affect how a route is claimed during the game, but the final route score still depends only on route length.
Do train stations count toward the longest continuous path?
No. Train stations do not count toward European Express, and opponent routes used through a station do not count toward the player's longest continuous path.
